If you were in college in the late 2000’s you know what happened.

The economy wasn’t in a great spot.

Today’s guest graduated during that time, probably the worst time to do so in the past 50 years.

So what happens if you decide to put your passion on hold?

Jen Wang, is a New York Times best selling cartoonist and creator of the graphic novels In Real Life and Koko be Good.

During this interview, she talks about her journey in the world of comics, how things took a turn during her college experience, and how she is now trying to combine all those skills and experiences to what she is passionate about.

Jen is extremely open in this interview, talking about what’s really inspiring her today, the financial struggle of cartooning, and what she prioritizes in life.

I hope you enjoy this one and that this conversation inspires you to observe what it is you are doing and get clear on what is that you want. Episode 078
